Our Mission

Our mission is to be the ultimate source of information for Jerry Herron’s clemency campaign. We aim to secure the votes needed from the Arkansas Post-Prison Transfer Board to recommend time commutation, positioning Jerry as a prime candidate for parole by the Governor of Arkansas.

Jerry Herron’s case exemplifies a severe miscarriage of justice, one rooted in constitutional violations and procedural errors that demand correction. We do not want to re-argue this case, but only to ask for a commutation of Jerry’s time so he can have a second chance at life outside of prison walls.

The heart of this injustice lies in the misconduct during his trial, specifically the presence of a stealth juror who withheld critical information that would have disqualified her from serving. This egregious violation of Jerry’s right to a fair and impartial trial is a key point of our campaign.

After exhausting all available opportunities to appeal his case, Jerry was left with no legal avenue to fully address this injustice. His only remaining option is to seek clemency—time commutation and parole—asking the Post-Prison Transfer Board to recognize that he did not receive a fair trial and to allow him to re-enter society as a changed man who is ready to contribute to his community.

We believe in complete transparency when it comes to Jerry’s case. We have made all relevant documents available for public review where you can explore the full history of Jerry’s case, including crime scene photos, investigator notes, trial transcripts, and post-conviction appeals. By making these documents available, we aim to build trust and ensure that you have all the information you need to make an informed decision about supporting Jerry’s clemency application.

We are asking the Governor’s Office, Board of Corrections, Post-Prison Transfer Board, Stuttgart Judicial Court, Citizens of Arkansas, Family, Friends, and Supporters who are just landing on Jerry’s website to review his story of redemption, investigate the documents, and follow the evidence to gain a comprehensive understanding of Jerry’s circumstance. We are also asking you to review Jerry’s detailed re-entry plan to see how it supports his readiness for life in society.

We want anyone who reads this website to be able to put your detective goggles on and decipher the real truth of Jerry’s case. Jerry will be available to answer any questions you may have if you want to send him an email through the prison email system.

“I am soliciting for support from anybody and everybody. If there is someone out there that lands on my website and is courageous enough and would like to ask some specific questions in relation to the crime, or my juncture in prison, or post-release plans, then I encourage you to sign up to e-message me and submit your questions.

To ensure the public’s confidence, I am ready to receive all the scrutiny and debunk the stigma that is strongly associated with men that have made the poor decision and committed a violent act - that they are irredeemable. I can receive an email from you on my Securus tablet, which has aided in my rehabilitation and post-release planning for successful re-entry back into society as the positive, productive man that I have been crafting for the last 23 years, fighting for justice! I am thankful for my tablet because I can take courses, send emails, or even receive photos from my family. This will also enable me to open myself up to the public for questioning.”
